Sarah Carlson (she/they) grew up as a third culture kid bouncing between East and Southeast Asia and Northern Virginia. She earned her B.A. in Anthropology and a Certificate in Human Needs and Global Resources from Wheaton College (IL).
Their academic studies and personal background impressed upon them the importance of listening to others, paying attention to discomfort, and valuing lived experiences as sources of knowledge.
To decompress, Sarah enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, exploring their D.C. neighborhood, discovering new flavor combinations in cooking and baking, listening to music, and curling up with a good book.
