Yanci Flores
Parent Leadership Program Coordinator
Yanci has been actively involved in community-based organizations since 2015, strongly focusing on education and community empowerment. With a background in graphic design, their work in communications and social media has grown alongside their passion for community engagement and equity in education.
They first joined Many Languages One Voice (MLOV) in June 2022 as a Summer Youth Program Instructor, where they developed and led interactive activities for 6th–12th grade students that encouraged civic engagement and leadership. Building on that experience, they transitioned into the role of Digital Literacy Instructor, guiding adult learners through an eight-week program designed to build essential digital skills and prepare them for success in an increasingly digital world.
Currently serving as MLOV’s Parent Leadership Program Coordinator, they support various adult programs, including Family Leadership, Digital Literacy, and Job Readiness. Their work continues to center on creating access, building confidence, and uplifting the voices of multilingual communities.
Outside work, they enjoy staying active by biking through the city and taking nature walks. They also enjoy creating digital art and taking photographs.
