Malauna wants to live in a world filled with equality and respect. A world where “good trouble” intersects with intention and results in reducing many of society’s injustices.
As a nonprofit bean counter for over 18 years, she’s worked for some of the most dynamic, grassroots charities around the globe and in the District. When she’s not providing financial support to nonprofits, you can find her reading, creating art projects and researching charities in need of non-financial gifts.
Her commitment to justice and equality are rooted in the historical events that occured in and near her hometown of Tuskegee, Alabama. One day, she hopes to tell these stories weaved into our current state of affairs.
