(who do you work with?) - DC City Council, Agency Staff, Service Providers, Donors, ELL Youth, Immigrant Workers, Community Advocates, Allied Movements
(what do you do?) - We increase the meaningful inclusion and civic participation of people in the district of columbia who do not speak English as their primary language.
(when and where is this happening?) - Timeline, Upcoming Events, Map of LEP/NEP per ward
(how do you do this?) - We engage community stakeholders to have the necessary knowledge, skills and power to create and occupy a seat at the decision making table.
(why do you do it this way?) - The locus of power in a community resides in its people, regardless of their language spoken, legal status, age or country of origin. The ability for people to communicate freely is the keystone of equitable rights and participation in society.
